Simply because the new Supra 316plus austenitic stainless steel (EN 1.4420, UNS S31655) has been created to help your business be more competitive. It offers you both improved performance and value due to an innovative approach to alloying and it has better cost stability compared to standard Cr-Ni-Mo alloyed austenitic grades.

Supra 316plus works extremely well in challenging conditions – it is designed for highly corrosive environments and it has high strength, good formability and excellent weldability. This grade also offers a combination of strength and elongation that is very attractive for applications in cryogenic temperatures down to -196° Celsius.
